Shortest way from Edmonton Alberta to Las vegas Nevada by car?

Shortest way I know is, drive to Edmonton International, park in the long term lot, and catch a plane.

If you really want to drive, get on Hwy. 2 toward Lethbridge, then take Hwy. 3 East about 50 km, take the exit for Hwy. 4 south, and follow it to the border (Coutts-Sweetgrass crossing). Hwy 4 becomes Interstate 15 south. Drive for about 1100 miles, and there you are.
