Ofcourse! Braces stay in your teeth for a long period of time with actual pressure in it. Thus, staying there for months or years will definitely align your teeth.GUARANTEED that braces will make your teeth in their proper postitions and will fix your bite if you are underbite or overbite.
You will see improvements after they are tightened every month. I have braces for like a month ago and it hurts for the first time that I can't chew even the softest food for 5 days but then after that the pain goes away or you get used to it already.
Getting it tightened every month will not cause much hurt like what it used to before because like what I said, you will get used to it.
Go for braces!

I'm exactly like you, if I pushed enough, my parents would totally get me braces. But just think it through. All my friends complain about their braces and all the bloody pain (ugh). But if you're willing to go through it, check with your dentist first. See if the two teeth are affecting your bite, because if they are then braces will probably be best. But if it's for a beauty purposes (like me and my gap) just think it through. Personally, if they look semetrical and I didn't mind, I wouldn't waste all that money on them, but talk it out with your dentist first, then maybe visit an orthodontist. But if you're like this girl I know and want a georgeous smile for your senior pictures (she's kinda crazy) get em. Just think if you really need them. My auntie always told me "It doesnt matter how straight your teeth are, it's the fact that you're smiling. And that is contagious, with or without a gap". Hope I helped (sorta) :]

After a year or two they do make teeth straight pending on how bad teeth are. there are platic and metal and they are types that look like a teeth whitening tray that are supposed to be just as good as the metal braces. Try some of those but alwys ask your dentist for specific needs.

Braces can aid in aligning teeth the way you want them to be. Often, when the braces have done their job you will still need to wear a retainer overnight indefinitely to keep them in their new position.

Braces will make your teeth straight and align your bite. As far as the retainer goes I only had to wear mine for a year afterwards.

No, there's no guarantees. I've had braces, and I've had retainers (I was told to wear my retainers for a couple of years, then I didn't have to wear them anymore). And guess what? I've still got a crooked tooth or 2.

No orthodontist can guarantee that you will have straight teeth at the end of your treatment. Not everyone's teeth move that way.

No. Some people don't respond to the Braces. They have to have other treatment.
