Lets try and break that habit. If she gets into one that has any type of disease then she is done. How would you know until she is dead? I hate to paint that picture for you but I think you need to break that habit before she gets hurt from whatever could be in these rodents that she is eating. Dog food would help stop that. Feed her before you let her out.

Your dog is an animal and has just had a snack. Remember dogs will eat anything...do you watch Animal Planet? The vet series tells all the time about what dogs eat that aren't food related at all and they survive...as for your dog a mole, hamburger, chicken and dog food has no difference. Don't worry.

No (unless it has rabies or some parasite). Some breeds were even created to hunt moles and other types of animals like that.

you might want to guard them from eating this sort of speci...like rats and moles (for instance) some people will put out decon to rid the critters from their property. If this happens, it would then be injested into your pet.
My dog does this sometime, and she usually sneezes for 10minutes straight afterwards??? don't know why.
just be carefull
*~punish the deed, not the breed~*

the mole isn't what hurts your dog but the diseases in the mole's fur. so eventually your retriever will eat a diseased one.

I wouldn't think so, unless she is eating moles that have injested poison. That would be the only thing that I would worry about.
