pain, crying, depression, it happens to everyone. it takes a while. try to think of the good and not the bad. i thought of all the others i liked/were nice to me. i also constantly talked with friends and went to many places(movies, mall, ice cream). it helped to get my mind off him. dont worry, you will find someone better. as the words to one of my favourite songs go: "Just the other night a hometown football game
My wife and I ran into my old high school flame
And as I introduced them the past came back to me
And I couldnt help but think of the way things used to be.
She was the one that Id wanted for all times
And each night Id spend prayin that God would make her mine
And if hed only grant me this wish I wished back then
Id never ask for anything again.
Sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers
Remember when youre talkin to the man upstairs
That just because he doesnt answer doesnt mean he dont care
Some of gods greatest gifts are unanswered prayers."

Same here ive been liking this one girl for about 2 years now, and when i started talking to her, i found out she had a boyfriend. I havent told her i like her, so im just waiting for them to break up and I'll be the one who'll be there for her to cry on my shoulder. But in the mean time im looking for other girls who I can possibly be with. Its a weird thing i know, but maybe a little relationship with another girl can help me get over her. Right now we are just really close, so when the time is right, ill be there. If you cant find anyone to be with on the side, get closer to her.

I know this situation all to well. I was as close to being in love as you can get without actually BEING in love. It was this guy I worked with and it went on for about 2 1/2 years. I still dont think I'm over him... but it gets a lot easier when you keep your distance. When you dont have to see them anymore and talk to them and be reminded of exactly what you love about them, it gets easier... until you eventually just start to forget the feelings. Then you meet someone else who gives you those same feelings and go through the whole crappy process all over again... its a cruel world. You just have to learn to deal with it.

my heart is still broken. My and my boyfriend broke up like 2 weeks ago. I mean i knew it was coming because things were changing so fast between us, but its still hard to realize that he doesnt love me the same way he used to. one thing that has helped is actually reading people's posts on here, it helps me realize that im not the only one suffering from a heartache. i actually have a date tomorrow, but i still love my ex, but i just know that we cant be together ever again. the only way that you can really move on is just to keep busy. Time helps heal all wounds. Just realize that shes not the only girl. There will be others, even if it feels like there isnt.

you will get over it in time, but if that was the case and she told you that. she wasn't the one for you anyway, because if she really wanted to see if you guys would work out, she woulda told the other guy no. and went with you instead.

i'm 18 and my relationship life has always been filled with heartbreak. i had one girl leave me for another girl, another girl got pregnant with her principal's son's baby....just to name a few. i just had to realize that these were just stepping stones and i needed to learn what i could and apply it to my next relationship. you just gotta keep a positive attitude on life and know where their's heartbreak and hurt there is opportunity and happiness
