You don't. But it is the greatest sin to not strive for the truth. And that means to not let the fairy tales of men explain that which has not yet been scientifically explained.

I can't know, and I can't prove it: all spiritual experience is subjective. The only objective experiences are only ever in small groups - which isn't much of “objective evidence.”

I don't believe there's only one truth or one “real faith.” All paths are legitimate, and all are necessary.

While I don't KNOW if I'm “in the truth,” I am CONFIDENT that I'm “in the truth” because I am one of MANY that have had experiences of the divine. While mine does resemble others', many are also different, which is what leads me to believe that no one faith, path or religion is true - they all are in some small way.

The Bible gives a test you can use. "Test yourself to see if you are of the true faith or not, unless the Holy Spirit is not in you, in which case you fail the test". Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father but through Him. The proof of your faith is through the power of Almighty God displayed in your life. If God hasn't changed you into a new creation by His Holy Spirit and if your works -after salvation through Jesus Christ- are not in accordance with the entire Bible, then you have failed the test.

Jesus Christ said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, no man cometh to the Father but by me." When you acknowledge that you are a sinner, Jesus Christ, the son of God died to pay the penalty for your sin, and you accept Him as Savior and Lord of your life, the Holy Spirit will guide you to a better understanding of God and His relationship with mankind.

If you feel lifted up, inclined to do good instead of evil, enjoy life and the positive things it offers. Enjoy helping others and do so because you want to not what other will think, you're happy to be alive...you must be in the truth!

If it makes you feel down, sad, depressed, violent urges and actions, always concerned about "getting yours" and not caring for others...must be under Satan's control.

Asked like a true level 1.....

1 Corinthians 2:14
The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

It is called faith, because all the FACTS are not in yet. You will not get all the facts, you die then it will be to late for you that when all the FACTS are in.

We who are true christians know we are in the real faith, because we have the witness of the Holy Spirit in us!!!

I don't need to prove it. As the bible says, I work out my own salvation in fear and trembling.

You need to make your own choices, and if you are "sure" about them...well....that's up to you.

I'm sure about Jesus.
