Starting in the fall of '05, I started having repeated bad "feelings" like dizzy spells, the feeling of not getting enough oxygen in my body even though I'm breathing deeply, and the feeling that I'm going to pass out. I saw a doctor in the emergency room about this and he said that I was border line anemic. I started taking iron pills and I felt a lot better but I no longer take them, over a year later, its starting up again despite me getting plenty of iron the past week. I'm a 28 year old male, what would cause me to be anemic??

Is anemia all that it could be?

I'm pretty nervous about this as I live alone and I don't want to pass out with no one around.
