It really depends on the length of your step. The coastline of Puerto Rico is 311.31 miles around. My step is 12 inches. It would take me 1,643,716.7 steps to go around Puerto Rico.

So.... Measure your step in inches. Then divide the number of inches to go around the island by your step inches and there you go. That is how many steps it would take you to go around PR.

1 mile = 63360 inches
311.31 miles = 19,724,601.6 inches

19,724,601.6 inches(PR) divided by A (your step in inches) = B (the steps it would take you to go around PR)
Have fun walking! or.............just rent a car!

So, assuming that Piano girl is right, then.... there's 86,400 seconds in a day and if you walk 1 step per second... it will take you 7 months and 18 days to complete your trip... oh... and with no rest...
So, you better rent a car...
Good Luck!
