This is for a class of mine that i had to make a poll and i need 20 answers as to why or why you wont date outside of your race.

I am white woman living in Texas and my first boyfriend was black and since then I have dated pretty much every race out there: white, Asian, Hispanic, middle eastern and Indian. I find myself interested in men that are somehow different than me. So even if I date someone white, I find it exciting to date someone from another country. Differences are intriguing, and for me, that has always kept things a bit more exciting.

I would date outside my race because that makes available so many more wonderful women to meet. Each race has a "special" beauty about them and I wish it was easier to date like this 20 years ago.

I haven't seen any men on the answer.com here say they date black or other colours.
I am a white male and I have been dating this black gal now for 12 years. My ex wife was Navajo Indian. To this day I get the strange looks from both whites and blacks. Funny though its the middle east people and Asians that don't give those shocking looks you see in prejudice peoples eyes.

I'm attracted to a person, not a skin color. An open mind is far more attractive to me than a closed one.
I once dated a close minded young lady within my race, and I just didn't see her the same way after I found out.

I date black guys a lot. Race is not important, it is the person they are on the inside. People get too hung up on race, appearance, etc.

I have not at this time every dated out of my class. However, I think I would be open minded on this, because it would be more determined on how the person treated me and if I was attracted to them rather than what color or ethnic group they belong to.

i have dated outside of my race plenty of times! i've only dated one white person, granted i havent dated a black person, only mexicans, but im not closed minded about it. to me its just skin color, its whats in their heart that matters.

Race and color don't matter to me personally. If they were German or French or anything, I really wouldn't mind as long as I was attracted to them in the first place.

I don't date out of my race. My mother said that is wrong, but I don't know. I am just attracted to my own race.
