That is nearly impossible...
But some things you can try are hooking him up with another girl you know who already likes him.

Yeah. If he has feeling for you, they will be hurt. You don't have to list the reasons. Don't lie. But there's nothing wrong with always having something else to do. Even if its watching re-runs of "As the world Turns" alone. Most guys will get the message that you're just not that into him. It depends on the relationship. If it has been serious, then the separation will be more difficult. Ideally, (assuming he's not stalking you or something) you want him to "just go" with as much as his self-esteem intact as possible. Keeping to mono-syllabic answers and not really initiating conversation also should signal "bye-bye". Also, talking about other (hot) guys should be a clue - especially if you interrupt him to bring the "hunk" up.

Sometimes u need to stand up for what u don't want and sometimes stand up for what u do want. But usually to rid of a guy is to compromise, Compromising can help u get out of many things such as the one u are in now, but what u need to do is get him somewhere where no one can get in your business and just tell him how you feel and" you can't take it no more i am sorry to hurt your feeling but i have no (unless u do) feeling for u and i am sorry that you have some for me but i don't like u and i am really trying to be nice but i just don't think that you and i can have a relationship but i hope we can be just friends" that how u should be don't be afraid to speak what is on your mind speaking about it can cause less problems, but i really hope you took this advice and i hope you use it !!!!!!

LOTS of different ways to approach this.
1. Tell him why you don't think its going to work out - be completely honest, and try to show your sincerity that you know without a doubt you aren't meant for eachother. (and explain why, so he really understands)
2. Stop communication. Completely. No calls, no e-mails, no myspace, etc. This has a higher probability of hurting his feelings, but its better than a slap in the face.
3. If you have a common friend, get the friend to kind of hint to him that you aren't interested anymore, and then refer to #1 at a later time.
Good luck!

well it all depends. do you mean get rid of him as in "stop dating him" or literally "never want to see him again?" either way, best policy is be up straight with the guy. most people will respect what you want if you are able to be completely open with your wants. there's not a real way to do it without hurting feelings. don't lie to him because that will hurt him worse especially if he finds out and dont blow him off because he'll just pursue the matter more.

Make him decide to get rid of you. Your strategy will depend on where you are in your relationship (and therefore how difficult it will be to make him change his mind about you). Start by not combing your hair, dressing like a slob, and refusing to do anything with him. Nag him a lot. If the relationship is young, insist on having long discussions about all the children you want to have, what you want to name them, and stuff like that. Find out what bugs him and do that as much as possible.

As a once-popular James Ingram song goes, '...there's no easy way to break somebody's heart...' I guess the best way is always the honest and truthful way. It might hurt him at first, but hey, last I checked, no one has died of a broken heart yet. So, just give it to him straight - albeit in a nice way to kinda soften the blow - and let time work its magic at healing his pain. Good luck!

I'm not sure of the dynamics or length of your relationship so it is hard to answer. Most likely someone will be hurt...post more info to get a better answer.

Direct approach is best. Tell him he's a loser than kick him between the legs. He will leave you alone and be hurting to much to worry about his feelings.

Nobody wants to be rejected and you can expect his feelings to be hurt if he has strong feelings for you. Just tell him the truth and move on.

Unfortunately you don't. If you are wanting to end the relationship do it sooner rather then later. It will only make the pain worse the longer you wait.
