Of course I wouldn't name a child that.
The meaning of Judas is well-established in our culture. Belief in the myth or disbelief in the myth doesn't change the social impact of the name.
I have never known anyone named that and I have known a couple of people called that in very angry tones.

As an atheist, I wouldn't name my child Judas. I'm just not into that name. Even though I'm an atheist, I still prefer some Biblical names, such as Elijah and Ariel.
I imagine some Jews are there go by the name "Yehuda", the Hebraic equivelant to Judas - "Yehuda" is a fairly common name amongst Jews.

I am not an atheist, but as we live in a society in which Judas is abhorred, I would expect an atheist would not like to have his child called Judas.

Christian is just a name it has no meaning other than what it is in tented for so i don't see anything thinq wrong with it. True believers live in a relationship with our father Jesus Christ, we do not live by a name only but in true worship, walking in faith, Knowing we are called by qr ace, so through faith are we saved for this is a GIFT from the father therefore we know that there is nothing we could do Wood enough to receive his love in our lives.

Even if you are an Aetheist, jesus did exist, you can't logically deny that, but you can deny he did what he did, So judas really did betray Jesus for thirty peices of silver, thus selling out another human being. So...you might have a few problems with that.

First of all, I wouldn't name my son that because that's a stupid name
Second of all, if for some reason, I magically did, I wouldn't care, because it was my choice.
