My highlights are growing out, my natural colour is Moussey. I have a pale complexion and blue eyes. I'v tried eeevry colour under the sun. Everybody i know say brown works well on me but I always feel 'invisible" without my blonde hair but on the downside, it is so damaging and drying. Has anybody had this dilemma before? Anyone think they know what colour would best suit me?

I have the same problem, minus the blonde. I have a pretty pale complexion with blue eyes and naturally I have very dark brown hair. I've never gone blonde but I was addicted to red.. not only is it damaging, but colors like red and blonde are VERY high maintenance.. and that leads to more damage and more money spent. I think darker hair brings out our light eyes and that's why I lean more towards it. My advice is to first start by dying your hair all to one color to get rid of the highlights that are growing out.. and you might have to go dark, possibly darker than "moussey" to hide them. I wouldn't recommend going lighter right now because then the highlights may not be hidden, unless you go to a salon to have it professionally done.. they will fix it, but it will cost you $$$! If you have the money, I say go for it! They can also give you their personal advice which might help. If you don't, like I don't, I would go with my first piece of advice. Stay brunette for a while.. until spring, give your hair time to rejuvenate, then go to a honey or caramel brown. If you wanna go lighter, the perfect time is spring. That's what I'm waiting for. Also, after your process, condition your hair weekly with hot oil. (Blonde is VERY damaging - I wouldn't double process hun) Good luck.

I think you should have a lighter brown hair with blond highlights. you can stand out, and you could look better. I hope this helps!
