Yes, go to the bondsman and tell them you wish to "revoke" bail.
They will have him picked up and he'll become someone elses burden.

from what i have seen on dog the bounty hunter and ONLY based on this then all it appears to take is a call from the person that posted bail [you] saying that you are no longer willing to post bail and they go from there.......
What has the bailbonds man said to you.....if you have not spoke to him then suggest you call him right now [leave a message if need be] and also IF they have a web site also send an email.
Good luck and maybe this is really for the best for you, bf does not sound too good

Dear,
In reply to this question, Can you take your name off of a bail?, I can tell you that take a look at this site http://bailbondsfaqs.net it might help you
As you described; "I signed my boyfriend to get out of jail cause someone has to be responsible for him to make sure he goes to court is there someway that i can get my name taken off of it. We broke up and now hes leaving me with the bill" it may help you.
Good Luck :)

Yes. If he is in custody for another crime, you should run right down there and ask to be taken off. That's all it takes... a notification from you to recind bond. Afterall, he's in custody. They won't let him out without him renegotiating the bond with someone else putting up their property or making the payments. And, if you stop making the payments, they will go and get him.. .but they can also come after you. So, if he's in jail (already in custody), then they don't need to expend resources to go get him. They cancel it and he's going to have to get another one... Next time...live and learn.... let his mother put up his bond.... If you have to make payments, he must have done something pretty bad. You're better than that... get a boyfriend who's not a criminal. raise your standards.

Think of it this way - if no one pays the bail bondsman, he will revoke your ex-boyfriend's bail simply by finding him and taking him back to the police.
You were nice enough to co-sign your ex-boyfriend's bond - my wife did the same thing to me. However, I eventually paid the entire fee myself. Call the bondsman and tell him that you want to revoke the bond and where your ex-boyfriend can be located. Once your ex-boyfriend is back in custody - you are no longer responsible for paying the bondsman - just don't sign another bond to release him.

I was just in a situation like this, where the party I had signed bond for was rearrested, a month later. I called the bonding co. and informed them of the arrest, they asked me if I wanted to stay on the bond, I said no, so they took my name off and rescinded the person s bond.
So yes, you may take your name off of a bond you have posted for someone, in Oklahoma anyway!

For the offence you bailed your bf and signed the bond you will be responsible even if you broke off with him. You may request the court that you wish to revoke the security bond responsibility. It is up to the court to decide.
