I am not a photographer, not professionaly, but I enjoy it as a hobby and hope to learn how to exlore it better.

Please be honest and serious about your opinions. This is not a teenage attempt of receving compliments, I used a friend as the model for the pictures, not myself. Please let me know what you think

I seem to agree with the masses here the first one is nice, interesting composition, good use of light and dark. a good way to look at your composition not the image is to squint at it and see how the different tones play off one another.
The second one has a big vertical divider at the half way point. the two pieces are not unified.
They contrast is too different
the right side is way brighter so it destracts the eye rather then helping the image as a whole.
I think it would have worked better if you kept it more in the color and contrast rage of the left side.
where they meet looks too blobby, a nicer transition would add to the piece.

aye. they're very nice.. at least, the second one looks photoshopped? blurred, possibly.. with added color? i think since it's a very settle black and white picture, it has a sort of edited sense about it already; the photoshop editing just ruins the picture, it doesn't enhance it.

also another tip -- unless you're using it as a banner or something rather, trying taking a complete shot instead of just a portion of the person.
an interesting thing to do with pictures such as those, though, would be to take another one of the top of her head/eyes, then another of the bottom of her and have them aligned as a puzzle-looking affect.
like 3 seperate pieces that belong to one picture, but aren't connected.

good luck with your photography and keep at it.

It is a very interesting composition of a very pretty young lady. It has the mystique involved because only part of the face is visible. I'd say you have a good eye for photography.............

the a-lour of the neck is a classic I would do duo-tone warm thing up, the inverted image is not that great don't take away the jaw line.

ooohhh the first one is nice.... good composition.. It is constricting though.... but in a way that is good because it makes it mysterious and makes one think... I am not quite sure what the second one is though
