How to get loose wavy curls?

I'm new at the whole make-up, dressing up thing and have nothing. I want to have slightly curly hair for a occasion, how do i do it, what type of curlers do i need?

I like to use velcro rollers, they are easy to find and inexpensive too.

I don't put them in when my hair is wet, I fully dry my hair then curl it with my curling iron (spray with a little hairsrpay or use gel/mouse) and then when my hair is still hot I roll it in the velcro roller. You don't need to use any pins or clips, the velcro keeps them in place. Leave them in for about 20 minutes or until your hair has completely cooled. It's really easy and it holds for a long time! For a loose curl/wave, I'd use a 1 inch.

it depends on the kind of hair u have... if u have slightly straight hair-
1) wash ur hair, let it air dry if possible( if u have curly hair blow dry it)
2) put volumizing mousse on it
3) use a 1inch curling iron and separate ur hair into four sections
4) wrap 2inch pieces of ur hair around the curler and leave it there for about 20-30 seconds.
5) it is a good idea to put medium size rollers in the crown of ur hair if u want a look like gisele bunchen and most of the victoria secret models and curl the rest of your hair.
6) put lots of gloss and hair serum on ur hair for the sexy victoria secret look all over ur hair
dont brush ur hair with a comb just brush it by fingering it with ur hair and try to get a kind of volumising look to it

i have done this look many times and it always works with me!
brush some bronzer on ur cheeks! it looks great with loose curls to get a sexy brazilian look!

Those can only be achieved by a curling iron. I tried all kinds of lotions and none created that nice wavy look by itself. I highly suggest that you look into a good curling ceramic iron like Chi or Revlon (if you do not want to spend that much money).

get a barrel curling iron, maybe another, smaller sized one and use them both if u want the curls to look more natural, use them, flip your head upside down, run your fingers through your hair, give your head a little shake, then spray hairspray on your hair. also, the best types of curling irons are ceramic

for the hollywood big waves you need a big barrell curling iron. no less than1 inch. curl them in different directions. it makes it look more natural. rollers are just gonna give you volume. not so much loose waves.
