is it illegal in the state of florida to do/give tattoos if you are pregnant?

I'm not getting tattoos. I give them. I need to know if I am pregnant is it illegal to administer a tattoo.

In other words can I still work as a tattoo artist if I can pregnant? Do you people not read the question before you answer?

I wouldn't see why. Just as long as you wear gloves and take the necessary precautions, which I am sure you already do. Check with the company that gave you your license.
The only thing that I have ever heard of being illegal while pregnant is drug use....no to imply anything!!!! Just saying.

not sure about florida law but i imagine it would be foolish to get a tattoo anywhere NEAR your stomach area while pregnant,my wife got 2 tattoos while pregnant on her thigh and back.As to legal issues if they look at you and have you sign the waiver that means its all you and that you kinda give up your rights to sue unless they are using dirty needles.....its kinda like a roller coaster --caution to pregnant women and those faint of heart....use your good judgment and if your really that worried just wait till the kid is born....it will definatly make tattoo pain seem like a walk on the beach compared to birth.

No, you can administer tattoos if you are pregant. There is no law against it and if your boss (if you work for a parlor) cannot keep you from doing your work. If you get fired, then you have the "wrongful termination" suit.

it can be dangerous because you are having pain when u get a tatoot and if u get one on your belly u can hurt your baby so dont do that cause i dont wont your baby to die.
