That means that the birthdate on file with the Social Security Administration does not match what you put on your return. You must correct this with SS before you can file your return.
Your local SS office can fix this for you. Bring proof if ID, your SS card, and proof of date of birth with you.

First, make sure it is not only the right birthdate, but is in the right format. Second, check her birth certificate. Maybe she is fudging her age, maybe the birth certificate was filed incorrectly.

Then the social security administration has her birthdate wrong. Check with them.

Print the form& mail it--that's what we are having to do.
We got married last year (we are in our 40s) and our AGI didn't match, which caused the IRS to reject the e-file.
So I printed out the form & will snail-mail it, although we can still get direct deposit.
