suitcase had never had combination set, but when airline delivered suitcase late to my home, the combination lock had been set.

You could always call the manufacturer or spend the time going through each combination - only 729 different combinations (if it is a 3 digits one)

Start w/000, 001, 002, etc.; then on 010, 011, etc. This is frustrating as heck. Your other bet might be to have some one cut it off w/bolt cutters. You might want to set it to something simple, birthday maybe, so if it happens again in the future you will be able to open it easily. I am surprised they set it as the TSA has authority to cut open any locks that aren't their specialty lock.

Angle Grinder and some goggles. Anyone telling you how to get into it would really just be telling the whole world how to break into a suitcase!

A sledge hammer to break it open or go through the millions of combinations til ya get it. Either way good luck it ain't easy.
