It wouldn't surprise me. You know how much they value that potential life ahead of the people that are already here.

The use of artificial birth control to prevent pregnancy is never morally sanctioned by the Catholic Church.

This does not mean that the Catholic Church is uncaring when it comes to women who may be at high risk for health problems with pregnancy.

But there are other means at our disposal besides artificial birth control -- such as abstinence, as well as having sexual relations during a time in a woman's cycle when she's not likely to get pregnant.

Sexual union between man and woman is one of God's greatest gifts to us -- and one reason for that is that it allows us to take part in His creative work. The use of artificial means to suppress that creative work is a rejection of God's natural order of things.

Absolutely. I hate all this crap about just because of your religion, you can't do this or that- yes you can . Everyone should live their lives to the fullest, and do what makes them happy. I am Catholic, and I believe in God- but come on- live how you want- life's too short. So yes, a woman can take birth control pills for her health, even if she is Catholin, Christian, Lutheran, Athiest, Jewish, etc. Life is life. Live it.

i'm so unhappy no one sees your very glaring humor. "sound like a dick"? no longer regularly. one in each and every of my sisters grow to be on birth control for health causes at age 15. ought to my mom and father have forbidden this? She wasn't sexually energetic in any respect. with her medical difficulty, I doubt she had any interest in sex on the time. My Jewish associates tell me that when it comes to human existence, no commandment is broken to keep or deal with someone. So, i imagine you're secure to ditch the 4th century.

The final determination is the woman's conscience. Canon Law tells us that if we have an informed conscience, we may follow our conscience, even if it goes against Church law.

they CAN, because the Catholic church does not do anything to stop them, but the Catholic teaching is that the reason for sex is to procreate, and technically she shouldn't be having sex at all if she does not want another kid.

(And that goes double for you post-menopausal women!)

No because so many are abortifations (I think that's the right term) They must use natural family planning or abstinance. My Mother was told not to have any more children after me her fourth. She had six more without any problems.
