Hyundai has moved into the top 3 in intial quality closely following Toyota and Lexus. The Santa Fe is larger and a bit cheaper then a Rav4, so do a test drive and decide which you like best. No question the Santa Fe was very popular over the last few years and now the Hyundai/Kia group has moved up to #7 in US sales so don't expect to be the only fellow on your block with one of these.

I just owned a 2005 Hyundai Tiburon that I just traded. The damn car lost it's value like you wouldn't beleive. Just got an All-wheel drive Audi thtat I love! If you want a Hyundai, do you homework. If you don't plan on keeping it a long time or at least until it's paid then it's probably not worth it simply because they do not hold their value.

Average to just above average. They have improved vastly and they haven't had any horror stories with reliability. If you buy one keep it a long time because resale value tends to be poor. The '07 is a new make over and looks good.

In the past Hyundai have prove to be good but just in case you get a bad one you might want to have the book "Lemon Protection Identifying a Lemon" at lemonprotection.com. Good Luck and GOD Bless.

It's a pretty good car, if you don't get the lemon. the newers ones are pretty nice too. resale value is little low, but you get more bang for your buck when you buy it. It's better than these retarded bastards think they are.
