That was only yesterday- and it was the "Best By" date. If you wanted some right now or in the morning I think you would be fine. But if you can get some new milk then do. But Its just a guide line- nothing magical happens at 12am on the 9th of Feb to spoil your milk. :)

You can still drink it. With modern refrigeration/pasteurization methods most milk is good for anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks after the expiration date. If it tastes or smells weird, toss it, otherwise drink up.

first of all look for best used by dates thatare later in the month. of course these products are way in the back of the shelves. you can still use the milk for 5 days after that date 2/9/07. just check it by a little sip of the milk. boop

Ack! NEVER ever drink milk the day after the day. To do so would be a violation of rules of the Mothers with Udders Union (MUU). That makes for irritable bovine, which leads to, you guessed it: MAD COW DISEASE!!! To keep the cows happy (Happy Cows come from California - I saw it on TV) you absolutely must not drink milk on the day after the day. You have to get new milk, to help stem unemployment among dairy cows. (For information: 1% milk comes from fashion model cows, like the ones on TV; 2% from your average cow-in-the-pasture; whole milk is from Rosie O'Donnell size cows, and Non-Fat (Skim) comes from anorexic cows - not generally shown on TV, as MUU does not want to give a bad image to calves).

Oh yeah, and never EVER let a cow see you put juice on your cereal. You don't even want to think about the stampede that could bring.....

If it tastes okay then you can use it. You will know if it is bad. Products are usually okay to use for some time after the expir. date. It will depend a lot if you kept it refrigerated well.

Play it safe and toss it, or smell it to see if the milk was soured. If not, you can chance it and drink.

It will instantly spoil at midnight on that date....LOL

Give it a good whiff. If it smells sour dump it out, but it should be ok. Low fat and fat free seem to last quite awhile past their expiration date.
