Paul and Peter said several things about Jesus that contradicted what Jesus said about himself. Another example are those who claim Jesus is not the son of God, but that Jesus is God. Jesus said that we are saved by being born again (in our spirit and attitude about forgiving others).

Will this battle over religion never end ?? Believe or don`t believe, the choice is up to each individual. The same questions have been asked here at least 10,000 times in regards to religion and 10,000 answers later, nothing has been solved nor will it ever be.
Lets all find a new topic, one that can be resolved on Q&A. makes for a much more interesting forum. Amen.

...He did not say He was not good; He said God alone is good. If you careful read the rest of the Bible you will find that Jesus claimed to be God. (John 1:1,14,17; Hebrews 1:8; Isaiah 9:6; John 5:18)
...Since He is God in the flesh, He had no sin of His own, and He bore all of our sins in His own body on the tree, we are told in Scripture. He became the perfect sacrifice for our sins, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
...In John 8:46, Jesus says this, "Which one of you convicts Me of sin? If I speak truth, why do you not believe Me?
...Finally, in John 5:18, we read: "For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God."
...I urge you to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and be saved. Acts 16:31
...Whosoever will, may come.

Christ was sinless or else His sacrifice on our behalf wouldn't have been acceptable to God as a way to erase our sins. The 'good' thing refers to Christ being human and having weaknesses, fears, etc. that God would never have. Nothing in human form can be truly good.

Jesus was teaching a point. The rich young ruler in this encounter saw Jesus as a "good master (teacher)" or simply human. Jesus took him up on the teaching part and basically said OK let me teach you something. "Why do you call me good?" Asking the young man to define (within himself) what goodness was. Then Jesus defined it for him. There is none good but one, that is God. Goodness can not be obtained outside of God and since Christ was, is and shall forever be, God, we cannot know goodness without Him (because He is God). "Why do you call Me good" Christ asked - because He wanted the young man to know that it was not Jesus in His humanity or Jesus the Teacher, or Jesus, the Prophet but Jesus as GOD that was good. He never said He was Not Good - but Why do you call me that? Salvation is based upon the fact that Jesus is GOD and cannot be obtained in any other fashion.

He said , none is good but the Father, but Jesus was perfect and that's why He could be the perfect sacrifice for our sins on the cross.

Read it again with the understanding Christ is God. If you do not believe that to be what he meant read the entire book of Mathew instead of one verse.

Do you know of any sins that He committed? No I didn't think so.
If Christ sinned then our faith would be in vain. Christ would of never went to heaven and He could of never saved a soul. But we all know He has been saving people since the beginning and will continue to do so until the end of time as we know it.

Everybody knows that Jesus was just messin' with that smart-a** rich kid.
Jesus is God, and it is absolutely impossible for God to commit a sin.
