i'm so with you. i get so scared when the birds act strange and make a lot of noise in the one tree. i love the envoiment just like you. i'm apart of a clean-up we do every saturday. we go around the town and pick up trash. global warming is caused by pollution mainly from car gas. its really scary and someone needs to put a stop to it. i have always thought about how we could put a stop to it. i wish i had the info and knowledge like a genius. i would save us i really would. i can only hope for the future and wonder what will happen later in 50 years. when i'm 63. will the world die. i wish i knew.

there is really to think about the evidence compals any one with half a scientific mind that is a real human caused phenomenon any one who tells you diffrently is based and probaly with big energy
CO2 is 30%higher than it has been for 650,00 years methane is 130% grater these are two of the main poillutants humans put into the athomosphene in exess and they are two thepriary green house gases
look at the "hokeystick"which shows a dramatic warming since 1950 after a faintly stable climate for 1000 years . in fact the 10 hotest years in record history have alll happend siece 1990 with 2005 being the hottest and 2006 is shapping up to maybe breck record
how's that for proof of man's fault in this? there is ample proof any real sciencest will tell you that
there has never been an acticle doubting man's inflence on global warming publist in a peer-reviewed journal A resent study of 1000 proved that
yes the earth naturaly heasts and cools but the rate of that and almost we are now is unprediced in the geologic past we are doing this and we must stop it this is not some politicail statrment or rehetonic . this is science trying to educate a class ignoant public og the damage they Are doing the magnitdue of temperter increse ALREADY is about 10% that of the "little ice age"f the middle ages and rate and amount are going up
just to be clean global and interglance cycles are mainly controled by asthomical fltations but we have a detailed recored of the last 7 cycles and the climate and CO2 is doing now is way dffrent and extreme the rate of increse is much higher then the past AND the vale is much higher.

Global warming is already happening, and its only going to get worse,
I dont want to contribute to the worlds destruction, so im going to do least damage as possable,
Im not learning how to drive a car so i cant drive one,
And then im forced to get train rides whenever i go anywhere far,
and what the hell is wrong with walking to get to places ?
Unfortunatly global warming cannot be reversed,
so we have to deal with it, all we can do is try and make this planet last as long as possable.
I mean in the past few years its very noticable the changes in the climate...
here in scotland, a few years ago, the average temperature in the summer would be around 23-27 degree's , now the average hot day is more like 27-30 degrees !
With winter the winds are getting much much stronger.
In a few years time its really going to pose a problem.
The funny thing is, there is no real action to deal with it from the Government, i mean sure, they are talking about possable ways and giving advice,
but they need to be strict and literally do somthing ,
and the reason they are not doing anythign is because if they do somthing really mad like raise the road tax's dramatically (lets be realistic its the only thing that can stop people from driving), people are going to oppose that government,
its societys fault as a whole,
Its just as much my fault as it is everyone else, nobodys being perfect about it.
But it definatly is the biggest issue in the world, since the fact that it is the world that is going to be destroyed in years to come.

Unfortunately you've fallen for one of the oldest tricks in the political book. I don't need to prove why the 'enviornmental' thing is obtuse, but I'll just ask that before you get all crazy worried about it, I'd ask that you find scientific FACT that things are INDEED that bad.
To shorten this, there are WAYYYYYY too many scientists that disagree with the GOVERNMENT PAID scientists whom are making some pretty ridiculous claims.
When I was little, it was the ozone layer and it's huge hole! Now it's emissions from our SUV'S (and Pelosi's big *** plane) now going to kill us in 10 years.
Sorry to tell you this, but you're kinda falling for an idiots game. It's all politics hon, you just got to know where/when to see the REAL things you ought to be worried about.
Besides, the U.S. is cleanest country in on earth! We ought to be patting ourselves on the back for all our hard work.

While I don't believe in man-made global warming, I do hate and despise putting money into the purses of regimes that hate us each time I buy fuel! And I do care about living gently on our earth. What I do is drive an economy car and use ethanol-blend fuel, try to keep my heating fuel use to a minimum, harvest rainwater for my garden and lawn, re-use and recycle a lot, and plant trees. And I am getting ready to rent "Who Killed The Electric Car". I am also planning to retrofit my home for passive solar.

You don't have to show us anything. Global warming is misunderstood. Volcanic activity contributes more to greenhouse gases than industry or automobiles. Geological history shows several periods of warming and cooling. What do you think came before the Ice Age? It was global warming. We'll have another Ice Age right after we get through this global warming. What do you think killed the woolly mammoths? What killed the early horses in North America? It all happens in cycles.

Natural mechanisms that have historically reduced co2 levels--
Well, as the amount of co2 increases in our atmosphere, certain plants, molds and fungi start to multiply at unprecedented rates. These biologicals do so because they thrive in an oxygen-deleted environment. Nature's balancing act is working fine, as most of them produce more oxygen as a byproduct that current flora.
An example would be VINES, which are now seen proliferating and taking a much larger ecological niche for themselves, to the point that they actually kill off the trees they are growing on. Pound for pound, vines generate 8 times more oxygen than trees and shrubs do.
The only problem is that it will take hundreds, or perhaps thousands of years to rebalance the atmosphere naturally, and if the oxygen level drops below 8.5% in the meantime, mammals--including us--are just fossils.
Millions of tons of crap DAILY into the atmosphere is nothing to sneeze at. Pun intended.
We are shrewing ourselves over for a buck.
Shooting ourselves in the herd.
Stepping on our own ducks.
Cutting off our nose to spite our finch.
Kicking ourselves in the asparagus beetle.
For the almighty dollar we're ruining it for everybody and everything, and people who deny it are three fries short of a Happy Meal.
Have a nice day.

global warming is a global effort. Even if us comply, other countries such as china, japan, hong kong, russia, iraq have to follow up. As citizens of united states of america, it is in your best interest to do whatever you can.
1) you must do all you can to decrease energy use such as turning off the lights, ac, etc when not used.
2) persuade others
3) If possible be a science college major like me, and find alternative source of energy to replace gas.

I guess we could all turn on our air conditioners. Keep making ice cubes and putting them out on the lawn.
Do you realize how the politicians and people who run the media are laughing at us?

We need to stop using green house gases such as CFC's. We need to conserve electricity and stop burning fossil fuels.
