Christians-Do you think christians are being percicuted so much more these days everywhere?

I do, as I read last night these christan people who were giving gideon bibles away to people on the street in America in I think Florida was arrested and taken to Jail. A bunch of elderly women last month were sharing Jesus on the streets somewhere in America and was arrested and thrown in Jail and are facing about 70 years. Me the other day was thrown out of my access with my daughter for bringing up Jesus, and was escorted out of the building by 2 security gards, and that is in Australia.You have to be carful these days, even on the t- shirts that you ware, as you never know now when you will be arrested. Soon you will not even be allowed to wear crosses and christians t- shirts. That will not stop me. Jesus made it clear that in that last days, which we are living in persecution will increase. Jesus said they persected him so they will persicute you, and Jesus said if the world hates you remember it hated me first. Christians we need to stand up for Jesus more.

When the antichrist comes out it will be a lot worse than that.And we need to tell these atheists that we are not going to listen to any more of their garbage about Jesus not being real. Just do what I do, block it out and not listen to them, because what they say has no Heavenly value anyway.

I never knew there were so many atheists in this world until recently when I began answering questions on yahoo's Q&A.. Now it seems that most all younger people have questions which puts down all christians. I have been in two wars and never heard anyone claim to be atheists while in combat and have heard a lot of prayers when things got rough. All I can do is to try to live a christian life and pray for those who don't believe in God or the Lord Jesus Christ as their saviour. God bless you.

Ok, I know you asked for a Christian perspective, and I'm NOT a Christian, but I'm gonna answer your question regardless, as it's my right.

NO, you are not being persecuted. When you have your child taken away from you because you are a Christian IN YOUR OWN HOME, THEN you are persecuted. When you are told that you can not pray IN SILENCE whenever you want (as long as it is not affecting others like at a traffic light or in line or whatnot), THEN you are persecuted. When you are told that you can not adopt a child because you are a Christian, THEN you are persecuted.

But when people say they do not want Christianity shoved in their faces (i.e. coming to an event for another religion, WITHOUT A PERMIT, shouting on a bullhorn that all the believers of said religion are going to hell - though they don't believe in it - surrounding a girl and driving her to tears by telling her that her parents are leading sinful lives and are being led by the "devil", I can go on...) then you are just PERSECUTING others. You are entitled to your beliefs. But if we tell you we CHOOSE not to believe what you believe, and you IGNORE it, then expect to feel "persecuted". But that's not persecution, that's standing up for your beliefs (even if it's NOT a belief in Jesus!)

Appointed Federal judges have been turning the law upside-down.

This country that was started by believers is now in the hands of judges that are hostile to Christianity, and to God.

This country is heading down the Roman road to destruction.
We are in a free fall just like Rome was.

Maybe this Rosh Hashanah will be the time we get out from under the liberal judges.
It would be a joy to be sitting in the same room with the judge of all judges, and not with liberal judges that don't even recognize the real judge.

As a Christian, I KNOW that these are the end times. I know that persecution is on the rise as well. It varies in degrees of how bad that persecution is. For some its torture and death, for others its the removal of rights. Such as: American churches being forced to give a regular census of the members, and also the monitoring and censorship of the sermons themselves.

We are now thus born into the generation of all the culmination of PROPHECY! She was a child of GOD who may or may not have received the LORD. She was a human being, and while I do not condone her lifestyle, I am or rather....I WAS HURT to hear such hatred from the same ppl in my life that claim CHRIST. I am personally HORRIFIED everytime an unbeliever or a person whose salvation was in question for myself......when they die, it breaks my heart. It hurts immensly, and I dont even know 99.9% of these deaths I mourn.

I'm glad you brought that up, because I go through it all of the time, but I don't talk about it because their are a lot of religious people doing it too. Notice I said religious people and not Christians because I'm a Christian. Sinners are worse though.
