Right now I have 2 tattoos, and am planning on getting many more.

My first is the eye of horus on my lower back which I regret (not the tattoo itself, but the placement) My best friend and I got matching eyes to symbolize each other looking out for the other always. corny yes, but I love it anyways.

My 2nd is an hourglass with the words 'youth' at the top and 'wisdom' at the bottom. The sand in the hourglass represent both youth and wisdom, so as the sand at the top (youth) dwindles, the sand at the bottom (wisdom) grows. I loved the idea of having something beautiful, as well as having a great meaning.

Presently, I have three tattoos and I have every intention of getting more. The ones that I currently have are: a dragon on my left upper arm (exactly like the one that Angelina Jolie use to have), a Scorpion on my right leg; which is for My Husband; who is a scorpio and lastly, I have a Chinese character on my left hand which represents My Husband's Chinese astrological sign (which is a dragon). That's it... for now.

I have 9 but I'll tell you about a couple. My all time favorite is the large butterfly on the back of my neck. It was custom designed. On my thigh I have a large tat of an illustration by Kay Nielsen. His work is amazing and make for nice tattoos. Mine is number 11 on the link page.

why is TATTOO in capital letters? sorry, it just looks funny.

i have a tribal sun with a scorpion in it. i am not a scorpio, but i didn't want the lizard that was originally in it. i also didn't want fish swimming around my ankle (Pisces). it doesn't "mean" anything to me, other than i liked it when i saw it hanging one the wall (i know, it was flash), so i got it. even though it has no meaning, it means that i made it through the pain of the needles (i HATE needles!), and i now have a tattoo. i plan on getting more, and 1 of them has meaning. my next 2 will be wings on my back, and a domino with wings for my grandma who died. we played dominoes a lot when i was a kid, and i miss her more than ever. the wings are just for me, because i love the way they look (plus, it horrifies my mother!).

I have 21 tattoos including my whole back.

They mean I am free to live my life my way.

The one I think of the most is a braclet around my wrist of thorns with a cross above it (all done in black and white) so I can remember all the people I lost (dead or otherwise).

i have 3 tats. i do tats also... and did all 3 of mine.. i have 2 on my ankle.. a butterfly with tribal vine coming from both sides.. and a fairy setting on a crest moon.. that i had designed myself.. and the tat on my wrist is a flower band with a butterfly colored as the American flag and on the back side is in memory of my mom ... says mom with the o as a sunflower... her fav and at the corners of mom is 57 and 04 ... birth - death ... she was killed in a motorcycle accident in 2004 ... she had flower band done on her wrist and i wanted one before she passed but i was always afraid of the needle then i started doing them and and i seen there really wasn't nothing to it that its what people scare you mostly... but i have read here about ?'s about what to get... an answer to that i tell anyone is its something that should come from your heart cause it doesn't matter what i tell you or someone else tells you that looks good cause we are not the ones who will be wearing it the rest of our life its you. so if you dint have any idea what you want you should really get it then cause later you probably wont want that one later some where down the line

Yes, I have one tattoo, it is of the Yellow Submarine and it is on my lower back. It means everything to me, cause I got in memory of my dad who died 12 years ago when I was 15, we both love the Beatles so that is why I decided to get it!!

I have a tatoo on my chest of a purple rose w/ yellow shading, and a broken stem. There is a drop of blood coming out of the broken part of the stem. There is also barbed wire wrapped around the rose. I got it to symbolize love and pain, and the relationship that they have together. With any love, there is going to be pain. I have been hurt many times, and so, that is what I got.

Hey!
I've got 3-
1st i got when i was around 16- is a heart with devil horns and angels halo- its on my hip.
It's pretty much me in a nutshell, im mostly heart with a bit of devil and a bit of angel- depending on my mood!!!

2nd I got when I was around 17- its a tiny tiny tiny star (about 5mm) on my left wrist- right on the pulse. It has a blue outline and a pink fill. My highschool sweet heart and i said we were going to get matching tats and thats what we came up with his was to be pink outline and blue infill. After we broke up i still really liked the idea and got it done.

3rd was a silly impluse but i totally love it.
Its a small playboy bunny on my left bum cheek. I've always wanted it and one day i just walked into a tattoo shop and got it! I guess it suits me cos im a bit naughty and a bit "cheeky" plus i love p.b. bunnies! (lets see how i go when im 60 and its on my ankle!!!)
