my boyfriend just joined and i can't help but worry about him....also..do they move around alot?

if you are inquiring about Marine Security Guard duty, then not very dangerous on the whole. MSG's guard embassies and nuclear/naval weapons facilities. there's not much shooting involved except weapon qualification.
i think they may be stationed aboard navy flag ships. also, as body guards for flag officers, but i'm not sure.
