My cat is an orange/golden tabby cat. He is extremely patient and loves to sit next to me when I'm home. His name is Tiggy Wiggy. A bunch of people have told me he has a weird name. So my question is: is my cat's name weird?

No, it's the name you gave him. If it makes you feel better, when I was 4 we got a cat and I loved Batman at the time and my favorite was Dick Grayson(Robin), so I named him Dickey! Yes we got chuckles and giggles at the vet and out in public, I didn't get why although I get it now, lol.

Who cares? Will your friends remember your cat's name because it's different... if it was something lame like Mittens, or Fluffy, or Boots, or any of those names that people should really be sick of naming their cats then you should feel bad. My favorite is the grey cats named Smoky... I have an Adam and Eve, and everyone thinks it's fun that they have different names. And if you're still sad about it then you should teach Tiggy Wiggy to attack those friends.

Yes, it's weird, but it's also cute. I'm 14 currently, and I would think a girl/boy will name their cat if they are under the age of 10. If your beyond 10, it's bit weird because it's more of a childish name. Here are some names I like to name a cat that's a tabby.

Jojo, Sam, Max, Marley, Jack, Tyler,

That's a cute name for your kitty!

If you want bizarre names, try "Sir Nicholas de Mimsy Porpington". Be careful answering that, it's my little boy's name.

I think Tiggy Wiggy is great!

I love it! It's much more original than Tigger or Tiger. I once had the least original name...I had a cat named Morris!!

It's not so much weird as unique. Although it does sound more like a nickname. But it's a really cute name.

I think it's cute! 3 of our cats are named Cricket, Crikey and Pookie.

it is not strange at all. it sounds similar to tigger, which seems to be a fitting name for an orange tabby cat. :)
