yeah, this people don't believe carbon dating but expect the dead sea scroll to be tested on this experiment.

Here is the thing with carbon dating. We don't think that it doesn't work at all. What we know is that carbon dating and potassium carbon dating are only accurate up to around 200,000 years. After that , the isotopes being measured have depleated to the point that they are no longer measurable. So when scientists claim that they have carbon dated or dated something by these methods ,and determined that they are 1 million year old fossils or whatever, then they are only guessing. They can only know up to 200,000 years with any accuracy. After that, they look to the surrounding rock and dirt that the object was found and use guessing to predict how old the rock layers took to form. They , however have no real way to tell. If they used their methods, then the pyroclastic flows that layered rock and sediment deposits in Washington state, when Mt. St. Helens erupted in the 1980's, Then they would have determined that the deposits had formed over at least a hundred years to make each individual layer. Yet the reality is that it formed in a matter of a few days after the eruption. So science may think they know how long it took to make a layer of rock, but they really cannot tell. So if science wants to date something to within the past 200,000 years or so, then I will gladly take it, for the most part, as fact and truth. Yet, as we all know, human error and limited scientific method always leave a percentage of error. Even some pregnancy tests or cancer tests turn up a negative, when the truth is positive(or vice a versa or false positive). Yet for the great majority, the test is accurate. But we must not forget that there is always the chance of error.

Carbon dating is a tool. It is not reliable. Every scientist knows that.
There are a few dozen methods to date objects. Carbon 14 is one of the few that usually gives very old dates for objects known to be over about 3500 years. Most systems give relatively young ages, but since they don't fit with the evolutionary speculation, they are rejected.
Carbon 14 depends on a lack of contamination. How could you date something that is supposed to be a couple of thousand years old, when it was handled extensively during the Middle Ages? It doesn't take much of a scientist to figure that one out.

carbon dating and evolution don't make any sense. carbon dating is not very accurate you can basically take anything thats old and "date" it to whatever you would like it to correlate to. evolution is a theory and will always be one. we have the ability to simulate diamonds in a lab setting, why are evolutionists unable to dulplicate evolution of any kind in a lab setting? if any die hard evolutionist can turn a piece of bluegrass into a flower or the leaf of some type of tree its supposed to be related to through the scientific method ..you'll make a beliver out me. until then evolution is a theory and ALWAYS WILL BE.Nice theory on paper but it doesn't seem to work in lab settings. and if you were wondering yes i am a Christian.

Were you a Christian who changed your belief becasue of carbon dating? I think not. I don't think the carbon dating was a fraud, I just don't care about it. I believe in the Bible and the way of the Lord. You believe what you want and I will believe what I want.

Evolution Explained
by David A. Rizwan
Evolution. Most people have heard of it, but not too many believe that it is possible. However, most people that see it as false do not understand it. I will try to clarify the blurry points in the Modern Evolutionary Theory. Simply put, Evolution is the process through which animals change over time. However, this seems to sum the story up a little too much. Most people that do not believe in Evolution do not fully understand it. Those people believe that the theory says that humans came from monkeys. This is not true. Those people believe that if an animal evolves, there is no prerequisite to the present animal alive. This is not true either.
The Theory of Evolution simply explains how life changes over time. This isn’t a few weeks, years, or even centuries. In most cases, this takes millions of years to be complete. The whole evolution process begins with a mutation. A mutation is any animal that is different from the norm. For instance, an albino garter snake is a mutation. A lucistic alligator is a mutation. Anything that is not normal in a living creature’s DNA is a mutation. It is obvious that some mutations would be more beneficial than others. This is where “Survival of the Fittest” comes into play. For instance, a longer bill on a nectar-feeding bird is beneficial, as it allows the bird to gather nectar much easier. Other mutations, such as an albino snake in a dark green jungle, are actually malicious. It is obvious that this snake will not be able to camouflage from predators while it is still young, making it an easy meal. The snake will never survive to the age to reproduce. The animals that are best matched to their environment will survive more, thus reproduce more.
There are sometimes periods in which the environment changes, such as the Ice Age. During the period of time, most of the world became icy and snow covered. The animals with a gene to have longer hair would usually die of heat exhaustion in the previous era. But now their hair is able to keep heat in their body, allowing them to survive better than the non-haired ones. The without hair began to die out, leaving only the ones with hair. The species had just evolved. As the environment changes, those that are fit to the new environment survive and reproduce, those that aren’t, die off.
Sometimes animals are separated from other animals of their species, such as the Galapagos Islands. These animals have a closed gene pool away from the other animals, and they also live in a different terrain type. This means that two samples of a species can evolve differently. One sample of a bird species may develop a longer bill to allow for easier food gathering, while the other sample develops a shorter bill for more control over the bill, and the final sample of the bird species may remain unchanged. Eventually through these changes and others, the two birds will eventually be so different that they can no longer reproduce. Another new species now exists.
Many believe that there is no evidence to support evolution. On the contrary, there is much more evidence than the other theories for how life came to be. When you compare two cats taxonomically, they are the same species. They can reproduce and produce fertile young. This means that all of the cat species are the same, Felis Domesticus. How did all of these come to be? Selective breeding is the key. Selective breeding is basically forced evolution upon a species. When people saw the first Siamese cat, they decided to make more. By breeding them with another cat, there is a chance to produce more of that mutation. More evidence to prove the existence evolution is homologous structures. These are structures that are made of the same thing, but fill different tasks. If you examine the skeletal structure of a whale flipper, it has the same bones as a human hand. There are many other situations such as this.
In conclusion, Evolution is a rather simple topic if you put time into fully understanding it. To evolve, all a species needs is a beneficial mutation and the death of the original version of the species. When an isolated species evolves away from the original population, it will form a new species. Since the original version is still alive, the species hasn’t evolved, but a new species has formed.

The shroud proves nothing. Let's say it was Christ's - so what. What does that do for you? Absolutely nothing. There is no doubting Christ existed. Overwhelming evidence. The only argument is - was he the Son of God. Study it and the answer has to be YES. Too much smoke for being coincidence.

Don't be confused by people that claim to be Christian.Any real Christian will tell you that carbon dating is false. I know this because any real Christian believes in scripture and scripture says the earth is only a few thousand years old so we know that "according to scripture" carbon dating is false. answers radio.com has a free on-line book called millions of years that you might find interesting.
Have a nice day.

Carbon dating is base on half-life which cancels itself out within 10,000 years. Therefore, evolutionists do not use this to date fossils. Otherwise, it wouldn't fit their theoretical charts dating the beginning of this earth at 5.2 billion years.

As a christian I don't claim to know enough to say carbon dating is false or not. If allpowerful God created every grain of dust in the universe, he certianly could have made the earth with old trees and rocks and mountians from the start.

I deny evolution to the same degree that I deny and laugh at all these silly tests and proofs that you all keep digging up. Get over it already, it's not real dude. Just live as you like but let go of the false evolution thingy. Lol
Oh, and learning to spell is a good thing, maybe you could devote just a tad more time to that in place of evolution, what you think?
