Christians 'pummel' other Christians -- from other sects and denominations and even within the same church. You've just had someone else posting claiming to be a "Full blown Christian" stating you would be calling god a liar and would be a pseudo-Christian if you did not believe the same as he does. Someone else called you confused, meaning you must interpret the Bible and live only as she interprets.
If you can't even get along inside your own faith, what are doing out "in the world" trying to gain acceptance from others for the choices you make regarding your belief system? That's the larger question.
Peace.

pummel means the act of beating with the fist.
That's assault and they should call the police. Everyone has the right to religion. Well in America.
If you are getting badgered for being a christian who don't believe in hell then that against your religion. Meaning you are not a christian. The bible says there is a hell and a heaven.
Your confused!
I know with your religion for someone to tell you your confused and they don't believe in your Christianity you think they are trying to misguide you and possibly its the devils work.
This is not one of those times! Your confused! read the bible more, it talk about heaven and hell.

Believe what you want dude. Actually I would think your fellow christians would be doing the pummeling. I've never heard an atheist condemn a christian for not believing in hell...but I've seen plenty of christians do it.

I restrict my pummeling to people who try to control what I believe or see in the public arena, or who use religion as an excuse for discrimination. Believe whatever you want....as long as you leave me and mine the heck alone.

"Before the advent of the Lord, the devil did not so plainly know the measure of his own punishment, inasmuch as the divine prophets had but enigmatically announced it: As, for inasmuch, Isiah, who in the person of the Assyrian tragically revealed the course to be followed against the devil. But when the Lord appeared, and the Devil clearly understood that eternal fire was laid up and prepared for him and his angels, he then began to plot without ceasing against the faithful, being desirous to have many companions in his apostasy, that he might not by himself endure the shame of condemnation, comforting himself by this cold and malicious consolation."- from the writings of John of Antioch(One of the fragments from the lost writings of Justin Martyr.)

I don't pummel those types. I sure don't like the evangelical hellfire ones. Most aren't like that.

Simple. Christianity is supposed to be united. Atheism does not, by nature, have to be. When anyone who professes to be a part of a faith that accepts any form of damnation, but leaves that part out, it discredits the rest of us.

There is no such thing as a Christian who does not believe in hell.
