I like him! I REALLY think he likes me....but how can I get him to open up and stop being sOOOO shy?

omg i have the same problem, jsut try and get to know him, ask him question about what he likes, jsut try and make it comfortable with both of you and when you talk have it with his friend around him try that and see if ita work maybe he'll come around and stop being so shy, but the shy guys are so adorible! lol

first, you have to know him well n you can't approaches a shy guy head on ! go to his friends, find out all those info regarding him to the best you can.
try the group activities that involved him for a start, asks him some open question [ from the info you gather through his friends ] when the opportunities arises so that he would has to talks n be open-up. [ answer to open question are not just a mere 'yes' or 'no' , its something you has to describe or explain in details ]
slowly reduces the group number to eventually just the two of you ! sound easy ? go for it !

You have to make him feel safe. That is the best way part of the reason he may not want to open up is fear that if he does that you or others may use that to hurt him in the future. If you can show him that you will not delibritly hurt him and that any informantion that he would not want others to know about will remain between you two. Then he will probally be more likely to open up to you.

Find out what his interests are, maybe by asking someone that knows him then ask him a question about it. If he is comfortable about what he knows he will probably open up.

run into him, and kick his shin, then apoligise, and ask to see his shin, and then talk about how you get hurt, and keep saying u r sorry and say...let's go for pizza on me i'll treat
