why would you think a christian would feel threatened by an atheist?......what reason could there possibly be for that?....I truly think you are mistaking caring whether another human being goes to an eternal judgment of torment to mean we are threatened.....if you don't know the truth then how can you make the right choice?....we present you the truth and it is up to you to receive it or not....nothing for us to be threatened about.....

I don't think they feel threatened by atheists. Christians just believe they have found the ticket to Heaven and want to share it with you.

Having been immersed in the Christian lifestyle for years I believe that some Christians want to sincerely share with others the love of Jesus and don't understand why everybody doesn't want Him in their lives. Peace :-)

Oh I assure you we dont. The threat of hell is on THEIR head, not ours. Once we've tried to share the truth, the responsiblity is on THEM. We do what we can. You know that old saying, you can lead a horse to water but you cant make them drink!

Oh btw, nice job giving in to Al Quedas demands after that subway attack. What are you guys, the new france?

Why do some atheists feel threatened by Christians' refusal to not believe? It works both ways. Believe what you want to believe and don't worry about what others believe.

Your society and culture is probably very different from ours. The topic is hot here in the US. You would have to experience the mentality here. This is not a very enlightened time in our history.

Christians are threatened by those who refused to be controlled by them.

I don't know what you mean. I don't know any Christians who feel threatened by an atheist's disbelief in God at all. What I know is that we pray for those who, for whatever reason, right now do not understand that there is a God who loves them.

for the same reason some atheists feel threatened by Christians' belief.
There are always people who feel threatened by disagreement.
However in general Christians are concerned for others, and would like them all, not only atheists, to find freedom in Christ.

We're not threatened. Just bored by 'unbelievers' who cry out "Oh God!" when they get into situations they can't handle without him.
