Oh yeah! Really bizzare ones. It kind of kept me from getting good refreshing sleep since my mind was racing with dreams while I was sleeping. Alot of the antidepressants can do that. Effexor is awful. I like Celexa or Lexapro because it's not quite as bad. I also take a very small dose of klonopin at night to help with this problem.

I don't remember having strange dreams when I was on Zoloft. I've been taking Cymbalta since December and just last week I had some incredibly bizarre dreams that absolutely made no sense at all. Whoa. But yeah, some anti depressants can cause weird dreams.

I know when I was on it I had some very real strange dreams. I thinks its a side effect. I didn't like Zoloft.

If you read the possible side effects of chemotherapy you wouldn't take it either but then you would eventually die. EVERY medication has side effects, some worse than others, what I heard about Zoloft is that it causes weight gain.

I didnt when I was on Zoloft but then again it didnt help me at all, I have since been switched to Effexor similar but different and its working and much better without side effects.

Sertraline side effects

Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: skin rash or hives (with or without fever or joint pain); difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Report any new or worsening symptoms to your doctor, such as: mood or behavior changes, anxiety, panic attacks, trouble sleeping, or if you feel impulsive, irritable, agitated, hostile, aggressive, restless, hyperactive (mentally or physically), more depressed, or have thoughts about suicide or hurting yourself.
Call your doctor at once if you have:
- a seizure (convulsions);
- high levels of serotonin in the body--agitation, hallucinations, fever, fast heart rate, overactive reflexes, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of coordination, fainting;
- low levels of sodium in the body--headache, confusion, slurred speech, severe weakness, vomiting, loss of coordination, feeling unsteady; or
- manic episodes--racing thoughts, increased energy, unusual risk-taking behavior, extreme happiness, being irritable or talkative.
Common side effects may include:
- drowsiness, dizziness, tired feeling;
- mild nausea, stomach pain, upset stomach, constipation;
- dry mouth;
- changes in appetite or weight;
- sleep problems (insomnia); or
- decreased sex drive, impotence, or difficulty having an orgasm.

I did not have that effect from Zoloft, but I did with Effexor, which does also contains an SSRI
