There is this guy that i had been going out for a yr. with. I even gave it up to him then one week later he broke up with me and told me that he had been cheating on me for the whole yr. we went out. He still tells me he loves me, but i dont believe him. He even told me he wanted to get married and have babies...should i take him back..or not...it has been 5months since me and him have been together...I am not sure if i am still in love with him anymore. He told me he changed but im still not sure.

wait a minute. it could be that he's trying to get you in bed again. because it's clear that's what he did at the begining, take advantage of the feelings he knew you had for him. don't take him back to quick, put him through some tests. say you don't want to have sex until you get married, then see what he says. don't let him think that you are there for when he snaps his fingers his puppy comes running to him!

as bad as it might sound and as hard as it will be dont take him back! im going through a similar thing. me and my bf have been going out for almost a year and a half and 3 months after we started dating he started chatting with girls...then 4 months later the same thing... i moved in with him at almost our one year...then he broke up with me the weekend before christmas (3 mths later) and cheated on me with another girl. i took him back bc like ur guy, he told me he loved me and it was a huge mistake ~he was crying and all! then for xmas he got me a promise ring but exactly a month after he cheated i found out he was still talking to the girl and they even went out again. and now he says how he wants to be with me and only me etc...to be honest guys dont change...people dont change unless they truely want to...and even then the trust is usually gone... good luck and stay strong!

I'm sure he is sweet, but you definitley should not take him back. I mean, he cheated on you for a whole year. I hate to say this, but he totally used you. He will probably do the same thing if you take him back.

NOOOO. He's not older than sixteen, is he? Anyway, don't waste anymore feelings on him. He told you he cheated on you, that can mean two things:
a) he cheated on you and thus, obviously, didn't mind hurting your feelings ----> he doesn't love you. At least not enough.
b) he didn't cheat on you and told you just to try whether you would give him a black eye or not, and obviously, didn't mind hurting your feelings ----> he doesn't love you.
Go find yourself a new one.

I wouldn't go back to this loser. How do u know he isn't gonna cheat on u again? And when ur children are older, and ur husband is cheating on u, how r u gonna explain that to them? It'll just be hurting u and the one's u love. â¥

Don't fall for it. Once a cheater, always a cheater. If he didn't respect you before, what makes you think he will respect you now? Don't take him back. It's not worth it.

You can do better. If he cheated on you multiple times, he doesn't love you. He's a horn-dog. Dump him or be used.

If you are not sure then I say you should pass on taking him back. He cheated on you for a WHOLE year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
