I am asking this question because I am curious-

In the past (say, a couple of years ago) I used to be the really flirty type. I wore revealing clothes and used to talk a flirty voice- this was actually me, I wasn't trying too hard (in my opinion, anyway). I seemed very sensual, VERY girly, and kind of loud, too. I also easily talked about sex and other sensual things, but didn't get asked out that much.

Now I am a little older, I dress more casual (a lot more covered up!), and I am not flirty- actually I wouldn't consider myself much of a flirt. Maybe a little shy and very serious. And I don't talk in a high voice like I used to, I talk from my diaphragm. In my opinion, perhaps I have gotten a little more boring- I am also more into politics and other serious things. But at the same time, I find that a lot more guys flirt with me and ask me out and I don't even ask for it or try to attract attention as much. Why is that?

I just dressed more conservative in the past couple of years eversince I started working in a bank- the "business casual" style rubbed off on me. Beforehand I used to wear revealing halter tops, short skirts, CORSETS, trendy high heels, pastel bags. I still like to dress up but wearing a sheer sweater top, a black tank top underneath, jeans and boots are comfortable enough for me instead of wearing a tiny tube top!

Don't take anything personaly but from what you said they probably thought you were just a complete slut and dumb. But now that you have grown guys see a beautiful, smart and intelligent girl. You don't have to reveal yourself to look beautiful. But you know what I used to be a loud and kinda dramatic person and guys don't like that. They don't like drama queens. You ain't boring.

Believe it or not, you are more attractive now. What you saw as "flirty" a few years back was probably perceived as "tarty". As much as guys may go for what they perceive as "easy sex" on occasion, they really do prefer to pursue.

Maturity is more than a turn on! When guys saw you before they saw someone to seduce. When guys look at you now they see a possible life's partner. That's why they approach you more often. Now you're worth their time.

lol i wish i knew!! i find that to be the same with me! guys prob see you being yourself and comfortable with yourself and that is a turn on to them.also guys now are prob looking for someone they can "bring home to mom" instead of the "one nighter" and they see that in you by how you act. we should both just be happy we got out of the "flirty and fake" stage of growing up!

i have always wanted to be that first "u"
but i always wondered the same thing....

it must be that they respect u more.... because u talk about other things than sex and stuff....

or its probably because u dress more conservative...

u sounded very obnixious back then....

i have a question.... what made u decide to wear more conservative?

Being smart is sexy. Would you honestly consider going out with a completely dim jerk just because he looks good and has a nice bum? See.

Probably your confidence. That is what is really appealing to men. if you like yourself more, they like you more too. Men like a mature woman not a ditzy baby girl.

because they dont see you as a fake or a flake or flussy. they see you as a normal girl with head on right.
