I have tried to install the macromedia flash on my computer but it will not install?

I can not use any of the e-card places any more for they all need the flash installed can anyone help me get this player back as I can not get it to install no matter how many times I have tried.I clicked update on my desktop but then I see an error come up saying macromedia flash not installed

Instead of trying to update Adobe Flash Player, do a clean install. First, create a system restore point just in case if something should go wrong. Next, uninstall the old version of Flash Player. To do this, go to Start Menu > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.. > select Adobe Flash Player > Remove > Restart. Now, download Adobe Flash Player 9.0.28.0 at http://www.filehippo.com/download_flashplayer_ie/

Double click on the file you downloaded to install Adobe Flash Player. Restart your computer to complete the installation process.
