Ever heard the phrase, "Dogs drool, cats rule" ? That's there nature. Big dogs drool more than little dogs of course, but it's not unusual. I doubt there is anything wrong.

When dealing with a dog that has jowls like a Boxer, drooling is a part of life. It's not a training issue, it's just physics.
However, if he is drooling more than usual, I'd see a vet ASAP. Drooling can be a sign of extreme stress, among other issues that should be addressed by a vet.

Certain breeds of dogs drool naturally. A poorly bred Boxer can be one. Boxer usually don't drool in excess, but if his lips are loose, then he will. White Boxers aren't accepted by any kennel club, therefore breeders who breed white Boxers aren't breeding for the correct Boxer standard and that can result in other differences aside from the color.

Some times a dog that has the loose hanging lips are the ones that drool the most.My St.Bernard drools more at one time then the other. There was nothing wrong with him.The vet said their saliva gland work more then other times. If your pet does not have any fever or any signs of being sick, then you have nothing to worry about. But if you think that the drool is really bad, then take it to the vet.But other wise that is normal

My dog started drooling one night and i called the vet and he asked me if my dog had licked a frog? I had seen a dead frog outside the vet said that frogs release toxins that causes a dog to drool he should be fine in about 2 hours if that is what happened

He o.k. would have a bone caught someplace, have you ever regarded in his mouth/throat? Please do no longer placed you hand in there, as though there is a few thing caught you may desire to by risk push it in farther. purely open his mouth and use a flashlight. in case you do see some thing, then via all ability get him to an emergency vet. in case you dn't see something then save him comfortable and verify him many times till you may get him in. make an commentary of something unusual, different than the drooling of path, so which you will furnish the vet as plenty information as achieveable. stable success.

More than likely, your dog has a bad teeth or several bad teeth. My dogs breath got real bad, I took him to get his teeth cleaned and I was shocked that they had to pull 6 teeth. Take him to the vet and have his teeth checked.

Check in his mouth to make sure her doesn't have a bone or piece of stick caught across the roof of his mouth.
Also check if there is anything around the house that he may have licked that is making him hypersalivate.
Is he been running around and is super hot?
He maybe feeling sick also.

Unless this happens when you take him outside and he's smelling wonderful dog smells then you should take him to the vet... could be a bad tooth or worse. Don't rely on answers from yahoo. Take him to the vet. Good luck =)
