Periods and heat cycles are very much NOT the same thing, although you do see bleeding with both. And yes, cats can have a bloody discharge during heat, as dogs do, but are such fastidious groomers that you'll probably never see it. And you'll be too annoyed by the obnoxious vocalization and posturing of the cat while she's in heat to even think about looking for discharge. With dogs, behavior changes aren't as obvious, so people look for the discharge more. When a cat goes into heat, believe me, you will know.

Correct, cats bleed when they are in heat. But only a female cat can, lol. When they go into heat, it's like us, they ovulate. Except, they don't do it has frequently as us (each month). If you have a cat and you want them to be a cat and not become a mother, best to spay it. Good luck!

She needs to be seen via a vet in the present day. you may communicate techniques for spay after she's examined. Bleeding from the vagina shows an emergency difficulty. circulate! Cats do no longer bleed throughout warmth like canine do.

Cats that are not spayed do not have a discharge like humans or dogs do. If you see a discharge from your cat it is usually an indication that something is wrong, especially if she is spayed. You need to have her checked by your veterinarian.

Actually, most female mammals secrete some traces of blood in their urine or may even have some discharge from the vulva when they reach estrus. Howerver, female mammals do not have a menustration cycle like women do.

No they do not.
A cat in season will cry out and be very vocal, try and get outside. She will roll around on floor and stick her bottom in the air, but you will not see blood.
