Sure, why not.
It seems that if there is any doubt whatsoever, a person is hellbound.

Penny Mae has hit the nail on the head! She is absolutely correct. The infant baptisms are not seen in the BIBLE. There are NO Examples of them. Every baptism that takes place is a baptism in water. The individuals must be old enough to be able to do the following... They must Hear the WORD, Believe, Repent of their sins, Confess Jesus Christ as Savior, be Baptized, and Continue in faith until DeAtH (Rev 2:10). This is seen in the BIBLE. The scriptures are there for each of these. If you are interested in scriptural references, I would gladly provide them. Just drop me a note. Have a great evening and a Wonderful LORD's DAY.

There isn't a particular age. That's like saying all children stop growing at a certain age. God knows what age that is for each person. If you are doing your job as a parent - it's clear when your child would be able to understand the plan of salvation, and God will guide you to proceed.....communicate with your kids and don't stop when they approach the teen years

It's considered around that age depending on the maturity of the person. It's different for everybody. This is just saying that you are old enough to know right from wrong and are able to choose if you want to be Christian or not. God holds you accountable at that age. You can't just accept Him, He calls and you reply, only He can determine that.

The Bible does not give a numerical age of accountability. It does however say that we must have godly sorrow that brings about repentance and accepting God's plan of salvation that is given to us through his inspired word.
No where in God's word are there any examples of babies or young children being baptized. To become a Child of God , we have to have Faith in God ... We are told in Romans 10:14-17 how to obtain Faith in God, by hearing his word. We then must Believe God's word Mark 16:15,16; Hebrews 11:6; And repent of
our sins Luke 13:3; Acts 2:38; and confess before men our faith,
Romans 10:9,10; Acts 8:35,36,37,38,39 and be immersed in baptism to wash away our sins Romans 6:3,4; Colossians 2:12;
Acts 22:16; Galatians 3:26,27; 1 Peter 3:21 and then continue daily to serve God only as he tells us , not adding to or taking away from his commands. (vocal singing, weekly Lord's Supper, weekly assembling, Church of Christ) 1 Cor. 11:23-28; Eph.5:19;
Phil. 1:1; Matthew 16:18
Becoming a child of God is made when a person is so pricked in their heart that they know they need to change and live for God in order to be saved.

I don't believe the Bible has a set age. We are held responsible for what we know. The younger we are the less we know. I also believe that being able to reason things out bears weight as well. Like a one yr. old may know not to do something, but he/she can't reason or understand why or why not.
So being accountable would take in knowledge and reasoning.

I believe the age to be 20 looking at Moses.
God commanded those who were twenty years old and above to pay a ransom for their souls because anyone nineteen years and below were consider by God to be children and were under the protective head of the household.
Every one that passeth among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto the LORD.

the only standard is there is none. Children progress and understand difficult or different concepts at differing ages and therefore the age of accountablility can only be decided by the individual who is being made accountable for information processed and understood.

I feel that the age of accountability would be different with each child dependent upon when said child could understand the concept being offered. I don' t think there is a specific age, although I know of one denomination who considers it to be age 8.
For the reason I stated above, I disagree with that.

I really wonder about that...because I made a weighty decision at 15 to "dedicate myself to god" and Jesus didn't get baptized till 30. What was I thinking? answer: I wasn't thinking for myself!

The all wise God knows how to handle it you don't have to worry about it. Just be happy you are of accountability now and make the right choice yourself.
