You would be considered very normal if you lived in Asia ;-) The way people ask if you've already eaten here is 'have you already eaten rice?'

Westerners satisfy their carbohydrate carvings by eating bread and pasta - both man-made products, so I think you're better off eating rice!

My Balinese husband can eat western food (not all Asian people can stomach it) but after he finishes a big meal of pie or steak, he'll go out to buy himself a rice meal from a street vendor because he feels he hasn't eaten if there isn't rice in his belly!

You should get a physical checkup. Your body has an unusual zest for starch, which can cause a major health crisis down the road if you don't balance out your meals with protein and other nutrients. If Jasmin is a prepared rice, then you're also sucking in lots of sodium.

Seafood, any way except breaded and fried. Shrimp, lobster, crab, mussels, scallops, clams, most fish, a good creamy seafood thermidor..now I want to eat. I'm not hungry, but the KFC opinion got me started. It's 9:00. Are they still open?

Although you should eat in moderation, almost any vegetable is healthy enough to be consumed in large quantities.
