Microwave ovens need to have some moisture to work on or they feed back on themselves and might burn up/out.

I've microwaved wet paper, and it gets all crumbly from the experience.

‘Kay… I made all of it through myself. It’s an origami pickle. i understand it appears that evidently sorta like an plane—‘cuz I kinda tousled that bit there a touch—yet believe me, it’s fairly a pickle. you are able to tell ‘cuz it’s eco-friendly. And in case you carry up the flap there… no no longer there… THERE… the area that looks kinda like a wing... anyhow… in case you carry up the flap there, it says on the interior: ?? I delight in the seen you being my Valentine ?? *tucks origami pickle properly in folder* *hugs Dalek* *runs away blushing*

Hi. Microwaves mostly effect moisture, so wet paper, including construction paper, could get as hot as 212F (100C). I don't think it would burn, but watch while you try it!
