UPDATE: Actually, this was never in the bible. As near as I can tell, the only reference to this level stuff was in the Talmud, not in Tanakh.
update update: some more evidence that this is really not scripture to christians, more personal beliefs: http://www.gotquestions.org/levels-heaven.html
Are you just going on about this because you happen to believe in different levels? ;)
Consider this: those teachings speak of seven levels. Coincidentally, there are seven heavenly bodies visible from earth: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and of course the moon and sun.

Far Eastern tradition teaches there are 7 levels. The Hebrew
Kaballah teaches there are 10 sephiroth, or dimensions.
All of our religions are based on truth, but get distorted due to man's wisdom, (interpretations).
Attacking and defending are ego trips, used by those who have no real knowledge of, or conviction in their beliefs.

The Jews are God's chosen people.
He dealt with them during the Old Testament times under the law which God established.
when Jesus Christ came, it was to provide a way for primarily the Gentiles to get to Heaven by being "saved", thus the difference.

If the Jews teach about 7 levels of heaven then it was done so in opposition to their God.
Because in the Hebrew scriptrues, they did not believe in 7 levels of heaven, but only 1.

good question. What I do know, is that , the religions are always changing according to there plans of control for each era.
I believe it is important to question Everything that states "do this" or " do that" . or "god says this" , basically it is important to question all biblical texts and figure out for oneself what truely is the answers of life.
And yet also, the best way to find the answers of Truth, is to not pick up a bible , or to throw one away, and to , instead, walk the path of discovery and experience.

This is proof man is not monotheistic, (meaning one god), but rather henotheistic (one god at a time). Christianity was a rejection of Judaism and its wrathful, jealous god. The "new" gods of Christianity are loving and forgiving, and much more fun to have around. Christians conveniently refer back to the OT when they need to be self-righteous and condemn those they disagree with, but you'll never see a Christian following all the Mosaic laws. Give up pork and lobster? Hardly.
In another several hundred years, it'll be a new god. Or if we're very lucky, no gods at all.

Don't apologize...It changed with Jesus (God became man). He said the old way was the law. But now everything is changed (by God, he can do that you know). Now we are saved by Gods grace (forgiveness) if we believe. God himself changed this and sent Jesus to tell us the news.

The bible I believe has been altered and modified so much that it's hard to know what you can and cannot believe... No one even knows the real name of God anymore - it was lost centuries ago... You can read my question for more details about that. I'll leave the link in the "source" section of my answer
