My bf and I are 21 and the reason my friends don't like our relationship b/c he is Mexican/Catholic and I'm Armenian/Christian. I feel like people are always jealous of our relationship b/c my bf and I get along so well and my friends and their boyfriend/husband are constantly arguing. Has anyone gone through this?

All the time. Seriously, and it's probably the most annoying thing in the world. My boyfriend of 3 years is Puerto Rican, and I'm German, so we've both got a wide variety of friends and associates. I highly doubt people give us 'dirty' looks because of our racial differences, but rather because we get along so wonderfully. He really is my best friend, and my other friends most likely feel threatened because of the fact that I can tell him anything without feeling judged.

I've already lost one girlfriend, a casualty to my relationship, because she couldn't understand that it's okay to find a decent guy, and that monogamous relationships are really very healthy. She didn't have a healthy relationship at all, and I constantly tried to help her get out of it, but I think she just was jealous of the fact that I really found 'Mr. Right.'

Another girlfriend of mine, who I still talk to regularly, never wants to hear about my relationship either. It pisses me off that I'm not able to speak to her about any issues, or quirks that I may have in my relationship, because she's not seeing anyone. You'd think that people who you call 'friends' would be happy and supportive of you, instead of jealous and insecure of themselves.

At this point, I really couldn't care what other people think. I'm so very happy and secure with who I am, and with who I'm with, that people could be jealous all the want. ;)

Good luck to you, and to your guy.

Do you hear while individuals communicate or do you monopolize the verbal substitute? Are you there on your pals while they choose you? you additionally must seem at them and ask similiar questions. Are they there for you? Do they bore you? Do they locate time for you? once you're having those thoughts then it might desire to be an illustration which you incredibly choose some pals which you will have faith or you would be able to desire to be greater look after and characteristic a splash faith that the individuals you love do certainly love you back.

Yes. I've learned that misery loves company. Some people just hate seeing other people happy, that's why they try to rain on your parade. But I say "march on" anyway and continue to be happy with your boyfriend!
