well if you are asking my personal opinion i would have to say judaism since they don't bother or harass people into converting into their religion although nobody should feel that any religion is better or worse then any other religion in the world and you have to make this choice for yourself as you have to live with your decision and be comfortable with your decision and nobody else

Judaism is waiting for the Messiah, the problem is that He already came. If you're looking for eternal salvation, then Christianity is the only way. I'm not quite sure why you're worried about modern day events. If it's the gifts you're worried about, then your heart's in the wrong place.
The fact that Jesus is the son of God creates a HUGE difference between the two religions. The New Testament comprises almost half of the bible and that's all stuff that Jews don't believe.

Actually, they believe in very, very, very different things.
One example is original sin. Judaism does not believe in it, and we don't have to be "saved" from anything. Most of Xtian theology is based on being saved.
This is just one example of many--don't make the mistake of thinking they believe in identical things, they are almost complete opposites. And what do you mean when you say Judaism doesn't have modern events? Of course it does! You need to do some research, my friend.
Neither one is better than the other, for "better" is a matter of opinion, and how "good" a religion is only matters to those who believe in it.

No religion is better or worse but you are wrong about them being mostly the same. Judaism is very different from Christianity. For one thing, the whole concept of sin and reward are completely different in both religions.

I feel if you start with Judaism and study it completely, including the prophecies that point specifically to Christ as Messiah you couldn't help but become a Christian.
There are Messianic Jews who acknowledge Christ as Messiah so perhaps they have combined the best of both.
It is my understanding that Orthodox Jews are not encouraged to study the prophetic books of the Old Testament. I could be mistaken in that understanding, though. But I don't understand how you could look at the prophecies given about Jesus and not acknowledge Him as who He said He was.

Both are good. Depends if you believe that Jesus is the Messiah. If you are Jewish you are God's chosen people. If you are Christian you are saved through Jesus.

Jesus, because he claimed to be the Messiah and he is!
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him. -John 3:36

No religion is better or worse. It all depends on your personal beliefs and how you feel about certain things. Religion should make you happy, and if you're happy with your religion, then that's all that truly matters.

just on such topics as Heaven/Hell, the meaning of life, the nature of G-d, the messianic age, original sin, forgiveness and sin, and so many others.
