My friend is concerned that her husband and his adopted daughter are behaving weird. The other day, this 17 year old came up to her father and was touching his nipples though his shirt. She freaked when her husband just thought this was funny?
She asked me what I thought and it freaked me out too. I don't think this is normal behaviour between a father and daughter. What do you think? This is just strange to me! I think he should have corrected her and why would she feel it was Ok to behave this way in the first place? Am I wrong here?

why would the father just laugh about this? They were caught by the wife and they said they were playing? The wife said, you don't play with your father's nipples! The husband reacted strange to me!

It sounds weird, but it may just be innocent after all, she should stay on the alert, just in case....
If more evidence comes in , then it's time to confront someone.

What The Hell? This Is NOT Normal. I Never Acted Like This. I Still Blush When I Think About The People I've Been With! What Is Disturbing, Is Your Husband's Lack Of Concern & Not Doing Anything. Perhaps He & Friends Are Liking The Show. Install Cameras Without Them Knowing. Something Is Not Right.

Well, I have to say a fish stinks here! I do not think it is appropriate behavior. The father's reaction to his daughter doing such a thing is really off! The father should have put her straight right away! What is up with him just thinking it was funny? I find no humor in this kind of wacko incest type behavior at all! Your friend needs hidden cameras to find out the real truth! I would keep my mouth shut and my eyes open! This girl is a victim if anything is going on. God only knows how long it has been going on! The father is the adult here and is exploiting his child! Disgusting!

ok. The 'adopted' part is key. Maybe tell your friend to kind of set somethng up after a while, like you and her can go shopping for 1/2 day Saturday. Make sure she talks about it around her husband beforehand, so he knows that his wife will be gone for hours on end. Then tell the wife to set up some secret type of video cameras (multiple ones) and record audio. If she doesn't see or hear anything out of the ordinary, then she should feel much better. If something does go wrong, she certainly has grounds for divorce, and depending on how bitter she is, she could absolutely destroy her husbands life, because he would be involved with a minor.

There should be major alarms going off in both your head and your friend's head. This girl would not have felt this was okay unless the "father" had made it okay. He's either been having sex with her or has been playing sex games with her (touching, comments, etc) Either way it's inappropriate. It will be hard to prove though. The 17 yr old is into it at this point and is not likely to admit what her father has been doing. Your friend needs a good lawyer, for a divorce and for advice on what can be done about this relationship at this point. Yuk!!!

This reminds me of my husband's family. The first time I met his step-father his sister [who is only a step-child] was cuddling on the couch with him. I mean it was as close as my husband and I would get while we were dating. It's SICK! The thing is his sister [18 now] and step-father find nothing what-so-ever wrong with it!
You are 110% right in thinking this is wrong. It really is wrong. Watch out for other behaviors. Tell your friend to try talking to ger husband about it. He may find this normal now but ask him how he'd feel if an unknown woman came up to him and rubbed his nipples. He'd probably freak out. Ask him why he doesn't find anything sexual about it. Try to figure out the situation but touch lightly on it just to point out the wrong in it but not offend him. I hope everything works out!

Maybe it was weird, maybe it wasn't. If shes a bit of a tom-boy, she may have just been threatening to give him a "purple nipple" which is popular torture among boys lol. Or it could have been very inappropriate. I would just keep a close watch on it for a little while, and then if things continue to look odd, sit down and talk to the both of them. And seek outside help.

i think that is the grossest thing i have ever heard. i wouldn't pinch or play with my dad's nipples and that is basically what she is doing. i say they all need to sit and have a talk. if your friend still feels funny about the situation have her set up a hidden camera cuz something is not right.
how long has the girl been in the family?
he should know better.

GOSH it's so imposable to tell people's intentions through a question. That's the key, his intentions. I mean, this sounds innocent enough. I don't think it something to get worked up about. Now if her touched her, well, Yes that would be "not good".
I don't know, like I said, I wasn't there, so I don't really know what happened. I always like to be certain before screaming incest, molestation, or what ever else.

The husband/father needs to step up, be a man and tell the girl to stop it, back off. I don't care if she's running around naked, it's the father's duty to say "Put your clothes on, girl." If he won't correct her, I'd say your friend and him should go to counciling, seriously.
