We started going out 1 week & a helf ago, I am his first GF! we are 13 & in grade 8, he is shy so barly ever talk to me & when he does it like 15 word convo's, we have only hugged but I dono it it's because I am 1 1/2 ft shorter then him, Im his first gf or becuase he doesnt like me, or is he just waiting for me to make the first move

& please don't say that we are too young cause we arn't im so tired of hearing that over half the people in my school have bf or gf & have gone way further then a kiss on the cheek or a hug, but he has only hugged me!

Oh I am so glad i read this because it was same for me (im a guy) in 7th grade. i was really shy. you have to talk to him ALOT. n alot of love talk. then u have to go reali slow with him. start off by kissing him on the cheek n he'll want more. You have to have alot of one on one time with him like none of your friends. bring him over to your house or go over to his house and watch a movie and cuddle and stuff. you hav to be patient but not too patient. on the phone, since you guys are dating, talk about ANYTHING that comes to mind n like tell him what u think about it and stuff n u hav a good conversation. dont hold back. Have fun and good luck. p.s. my relationship lasted 1 1/2 year until she moved so i had to pull the plug lol.

Remember guys have a tough time with a first relationship. ⥠Most guys mess up the first couple of relationships. It is a lot of emotions for them to handle, especially very shy guys. Expect him to make a bunch of mistakes along the way. But it you really care for him, forgive him those pitfalls. â¥

i think it might just be a little akward
try going out wiht a gruop of friends
that will make it easier for the convo to just happen
try bowling or going to a movie

He's shy and doesn't know what to do...and is probably scared to do anything wrong. You and him just talk it out...eventually you will both be comfortable with each other. Best of luck to you.
