No, just sadden to see that they have followed man's doctrine that was taken out of contend from God's doctrine. Pray that they will learn to "test the spirit" (like we are to do) with those that are leading them. Also to pray that they learn to study for them self and learn the truth.

I do not feel this way. I do feel a sense of dismay over the obvious lack of deeper learning that is evident by many of the responses. Most seem to want to just fire off whatever pops into their heads, streams of consciousness, etc., with no evidence of reasoned arguments and synthesis of the issues. Some of the questions are often shallow or just asked for point building or something. But, having said that, I try to treat questions as a chance to educate the readers more than the asker when the asker is obviously just being flippant.

I feel embarrassed and saddened sometimes by the way that Christians answer questions - they're often so dismissive, angry and sometimes even abusive. That doesn't seem at all productive! These questions can be answered reasonably, honestly and fairly without resorting to insults. If what we believe is true then we don't need to be threatened by it being questioned - it will stand up to scrutiny.

Yes, I think some Christians turn people right off God which is a shame. The reason I have stopped going to church is due to many unanswered questions but mostly to the judgemental Christians. Peace :-)

Yes. Sometimes I am embarrassed by my own, since I am not always kind to the Fundamentalist. Mostly I am disgusted by the poor theology I read here, usually written by a Fundamentalist. Sometimes I am not a good example of a Loving Christian because of my responses to members of that group. I am working on it.

I have no way of knowing that those who come on these sites and answer, calling themselves a Christian, if they truly are or not. But anyone who calls names, is hateful or threatens people...that is a sorrowful thing to see.

i've seen some doozies...but people are people, and just because a person is a Christian, it doesn't mean they might not completely miss the point of something in scripture...now, as for the 'judgmental and hateful' answers, i figure that they might actually be CHINO's...CHristians In Name Only...

Yes, some of us are so judgmental and intolerant of other people's beliefs that it makes me ashamed to be a Christian, especially one who attends a baptist church. I find that thats the most intolerant sect.

YES... sometimes it seems as if they aren't even Christian... but hey, everyone makes mistakes, right? We have to forgive each other, even for dumb answers.
