The resounding anser was yes. So, you are telling me that an implicit atheist goes to hell. That would mean any child, or babies, go to hell because they have no knowledge of god and cannot except god. As well, any one without the mental capacity to except god (metally retarded individuals, people that have suffered brain traumas, etc.) are going to hell. Again I ask, are all atheist going to hell?

A baby has no knowledge and no ability to choose. Therefore, although the bible doesn't say this specifically, they would not be held accountable since they have no ability to choose or reject Jesus Christ. For the others that you mention, God, being perfect and just, will never hold someone accountable for something they (1) have never heard or (2) have no capacity to understand. God is perfect in all His ways, and He will judge perfectly and with mercy. An atheist is a person who has chosen to reject God. This is a personal choice. And yes, once again....that person will go to hell if they die with that mindset.

No babies, children, the mental handicapped, and brain trauma victims don't go to hell because GOD maybe a jealous GOD but he is also Merciful and he take pity on those who cannot think or speak for themselves. Besides have you ever heard a baby proclaim that he/she is atheist? How can someone like a baby be an atheist if it doesn't even know what an atheist is let alone a Christian.

There is a difference between somebody who has little or no knowledge of God and an atheist. An atheist is one who DENIES that God exists. That means they have been confronted with the idea of God and said NO. A baby cant deny anyything because it doesnt know what youre talking about, likewise with some human vegetables.

Thats like saying Im a Bob Evans hater when Ive never eaten at Bob Evans. (Its true I havent) Ive never eaten at an IHOP either.

Yowza, you just made a Grand Canyon leap in logic!
And unfortunately ya didn't make it to the other side.
Atheism, or faith or agnosticism is a decision a person has to be able to make. These are decisions to be made based upon ability to reason. This is God's plan. So are babies able to make that sort of decision? No.
Furthermore, what do you base your statement on that, children, or babies, or those whose mental capacities are compromised are atheists?
So my answer is atheists will go where God in His perfect judgment directs according to their decision to not acknowledge the existence of God. To be able to acknowledge or accept the existance of a Supreme Being requires the ability to be held accountable for their decisions. Someone who does not want to, will not be forced to endure an eternity with someone they will not acknowledge exists.

I think by not accept god according to the bible then yes, they would be in "hell". As far as Im concerned regarding some of the answers, a child that is brought up in a chirstian home and forced to go to church and has not had the option of "choosing" thier god. What happens to these kids? The parents made up their minds for them, they did not choose to accept god, Im assuming most of them never heard of an alternative. I first learned of other alternatives well into highschool. Before that, I was forced by family to go to church, be a good "christian", and believe in god. Would this have saved me and sent me to "heaven" if I had met my demise at a younger age? It was my understanding of christianity, that you must choose to accept god not force fed. Kind of reminds me of the colonazation of the Americas. The Native Americans who were "forced" into Christianty, where did they go?

persons who have attained the age of reason and do not accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior are destined to Hell by their own choice.
babies and children are all bound for Heaven because they are not capable of chooing, as is true for the mentally retarded, brain damaged folks.
God is a fair and just God.
God wishes that NONE should perish.
that NONE includes YOU!!

Do you actually realize what Hell is like?

My thoughts are that Hell has this phenomenal marketing department that has painted it as a place where it's all about eternal torment, just to keep the Christians out. They just didn't want to put up with the constant proselytizing, and it would keep up property values as well.

I think Hell is actually a combination of Vegas, Cancun, Waimea Bay, and tons of championship golf courses. Happy hour lasts 24 hours a day. You can still smoke in bars. 80 degrees everyday. Awesome surf, with 70 degree water so you don't have to wear a wet suit. And the beaches, topless of course, who needs modesty?

1 The People Rebel Then all the congregation raised a loud cry, and the people wept that night.
2 And all the people of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron. The whole congregation said to them, "Would that we had died in the land of Egypt! Or would that we had died in this wilderness!
3 Why is the LORD bringing us into this land, to fall by the sword? Our wives and our little ones will become a prey. Would it not be better for us to go back to Egypt?"
4 And they said to one another, "Let us choose a leader and go back to Egypt."
5 Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the people of Israel.
6 And Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had spied out the land, tore their clothes
7 and said to all the congregation of the people of Israel, "The land, which we passed through to spy it out, is an exceedingly good land.
8 If the LORD delights in us, he will bring us into this land and give it to us, a land that flows with milk and honey.
9 Only do not rebel against the LORD. And do not fear the people of the land, for they are bread for us. Their protection is removed from them, and the LORD is with us; do not fear them."
10 Then all the congregation said to stone them with stones. But the glory of the LORD appeared at the tent of meeting to all the people of Israel.
11 And the LORD said to Moses, "How long will this people despise me? And how long will they not believe in me, in spite of all the signs that I have done among them?
12 I will strike them with the pestilence and disinherit them, and I will make of you a nation greater and mightier than they."
30 But if the LORD creates something new, and the ground opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that belongs to them, and they go down alive into Sheol, then you shall know that these men have despised the LORD."
31 And as soon as he had finished speaking all these words, the ground under them split apart.
32 And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and all the people who belonged to Korah and all their goods.
33 So they and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol, and the earth closed over them, and they perished from the midst of the assembly.
34 And all Israel who were around them fled at their cry, for they said, "Lest the earth swallow us up!"
35 And fire came out from the LORD and consumed the

One who doesn't understand who hasn't herd of Jesus Christ will be saved by the grace of God. That is what most believe. An atheist is one who professes they don't believe in God... a baby doesn't have reason to profess or denounce God... so a baby isn't an atheist.
