How do you let a girl know you like her- do you stare at her for a long time? Do you guys like it when girls come up and tell u that they like u or do you like to make the first move. Would you want her to come up and talk to you first or what? Help me here.

I would just go up to them, talk to them and a flirt a bit to hint it. Somehow she fell for me and we've been together for almost 9 months.

When i like a girl, i find myself staring at the girl. I like if girls make the first move because it is easier and i don't have to worry about rejection. If a girl talks to me first, i can have a better idea that the girl likes and will be more willing to have a meaningful conversation.

i generally look at them not because i like them but because i have thoughts (yes those) but generally when i get a girl thats the last thing on my mind seriously. also id rather a girl ask me because its easier and besides then i dont have to worry about gettin turned down i like it when she comes up and talks to me because it means she is interested

I would go to her grandmothers house and wait for her to hang out with me.
If she never did and we ended up going to school together years later.
I would want her to come up to me, hand me a Valentines card and say:
"Was that you I used to see at my grandparents house years ago?"

If they try to be your friend they might like you they will probbally flirt and tease.They might stare at you but I dont know its their persnality.Try to get to know him too. and ask him out but dont give him anything like flowers etc. except your phone #.good luck =)
