Do you mean a theistic Satanist or a non-theistic Satanist? There IS a difference.
Whether baptism is a permanent spiritual dedication to the Christian God is a matter of debate, but the demonstrable fact remains that there are many people who were baptized Christian who currently practice different religions, or who have renounced Christianity for atheism. So yes, you can leave Christianity and become a member of another religion/non-religion.

I'm an atheist. But I think I have a good answer for that. Since Satan was once an angel in God's kingdom, then I'm sure that being baptized doesn't prevent you from becoming a satanist.

Baptism does not keep you from making the wrong choices. Making wrong or right ones is your choice. A baptized person can easily become a satanist if that is what they choose to do.

Baptism doesn't mean that you will become perfect, quite the contrary, once you are baptized, Satan will do whatever he can so you will fall into sin. Life gets filled with problems once you are baptized, but if you really meant the baptism, you will know that God loves you and is there for you through your tough times, even if it doesn't look that way. Look at it this way, no one has ever come out of satanism saying that Satan has been so good to him, he is only a deciever and will make you think one way and then switch the cards on you, God is the truth. God bless.

I suppose a baptized Christian could renounce his vows and become a satanist, just as a satanist could renounce his vows and become a baptized Christian.

Satan does'nt exist. He's a made-up scapegoat for mankind. All evil on this planet comes from man himself. So why not make up a bad guy to blame everything on ? Be aware there are many different groups who call themselves "Satanists". Anton LeVey was one of them. He believed in non-violence and not hurting anyone or anything, unless they were a threat to you.

You can be whatever you want. Or perhaps God intended you to become a satanist, so you could convert them all to whatever religion you were baptized in......
The bottom line is, whatever you become, do no harm to others, and contrbute something good to the world.

Generally people are baptized very early in life. How they choose to live their lives in later years is up to them. So, I guess the answer is yes.

If one was baptized for the true meaning of being baptized, they would NOT want to cross over to the dark side, for they have eaten of the Good Fruit.
If you had eaten a good apple without any rotten spots... then ate a rotten apple.. which would you desire more of...the good or the rotten?
