My guy friend knows I have a b/f. Well he always comes up to me and tells me when he is h*rny. Also he hugs me a lot. Well today he came up and got down on one knee, gave me a tiffany's bracelet, and asked me to prom. Does he think we should be more than friends??

In his own mind he thinks that YOU are his g/f. You need to tell him that you have a b/f. OR have your b/f have a little talk with him, man to man if you know what I mean.

Trust me, guys are clueless. They sometimes need things to be spelled out for them. I was in the same situation a few yrs ago. I had a best guy friend, and I had a bf. The guy-pal confessed his crush on me. But I set him straight-I said that I really cherished his friendship too much, and love him-but as a friend only to change the nature of our relationship. We are still good friends today.

Yeah he wants some of that. I'm very surprised that someone that young can afford to give you something from Tiffany's. Be suspicious of where and how he got that bracelet.

Yes he does. He may think that your boyfriend isn't right for you, and he would make a better b/f. You need to sit him down calmly and make sure that he has aired his feelings and then you need to tell him how you feel about him and your current b/f, if he doesn't get the picture after that, be more direct.

i think this guy does have a crush on you. i think he tells you these private things about himself to keep you informed and think it could be something you may want in a guy. guys version of flattery is so crazy sometimes but its all in harmless fun i hope. just tell him you dont feel comfortable with going to prom with him for obvious reasons. try double dating for prom (you and your guy/him and his girl). if you like this guy as a friend let him know so he doesnt feel totally rejected.

He does, but, honey, you need to remind him of your b/f. If he continues his unacceptible behaviors, you need to tell him you won't be his friend anymore. You don't need/deserve anyone like that. It's hard to drop a friend, but he's no friend if he treats you like some kind of ho. Say no to him about the prom!
