I'm the brother-in-law to my sister's husband. Is he also my brother-in-law, or just the husband of my sister?

Is my wife the sister-in-law to my sister's husband?

Also, what is the pecking order for dibs at Thanksgiving dinner for the six family members including my parents, my wife & I, my sister, and her husband? My sister & her husband are both 2 years older than my wife & I, who are the same age.

You are all now family. The women are sisters in law if not by blood and same for the men. Your wife IS sister in law to your sister's husband.

Thanksgiving pecking orders have generally been worked out in a family long before any of you married so that order stands with spouses and children fitting in the same spot/status as the sibling they are married to.

If you are oldest than it would be you and your family then you next oldest sister or brother and their family and so on. Mostly though in big families it is every man for him or her self with the sibling spouse in the fray for their respective families.
